We can find ourselves unable to measure up to the arbitrary expectations society invents. Sometimes we internalize and create our own impossible expectations, feeling upset and disappointed merely by existing day after day. But there is a way out, we don’t have to live like this. We can switch the script, we can stand in our own unique vantage and feel empowered and whole. There is liberation and freedom when we finally give ourselves permission to live from the heart as our true selves.
